With 15 years experience in the beauty and make up industry, I strive to deliver a high standard of service, always aiming to help Brides feel their most beautiful on that special day. Since establishing my business in 2005, I have already done over 350 wedding make ups and travelled over 5000 miles to do so! I accept no more than one wedding booking for any day, which means I am neither dashing off to see another Bride, or arriving from one. This means that I am totally focused on you and your wedding on your special day.
Every Make Up Artist has their own style - just like any other type of artist really! I would describe my style as classical; I aim to bring out your natural beauty and enhance your best features. However, if you want a theme to your make up then that is no problem. I have attended many Brides with a distinctive look in mind, such as Georgian (wigs and all), Pagan, Fairy Princess, 50's, and 40's. This is all worked out during the trial make up appointment.
For most make ups I believe that “less is more”, which is why I use Jane Iredale Mineral Make Up, along with other professional make up brands. Because only a small amount of foundation is required for superior coverage, due to it’s high level of mineral pigments; it really does last all day! It is also very kind to the skin; doesn’t clog pores; calms down redness; is suitable for use on eczema and psoriasis and evens out pigmentation problems.

The wedding day make up includes a lipcolour and powder papers to refresh with during the day.
*Only on very rare occasions will I accept a Bridal Make Up booking without a trial appointment beforehand. The trial is where I get to know you, and how we work out all the fine details of your desired look. For a stress-free day this is essential!

- It’s easy to book your big day. Just phone or email to see if your date is available. I will allocate the date to you for 14 days. A £45 non-refundable deposit will secure the day and time, and will be deducted from the final balance.
- The balance is to be paid at the Bridal practice appointment, once you are completely happy with your make up, or 4 weeks prior to the wedding day, whichever is nearest to the Day.
- For a call out visit beyond an 10 miles radius of Colchester, there may be an additional travel cost. Please talk to me about your requirements.
- If you need to cancel your booking you must do this in writing, as soon as possible, so that another Bride can be offered your date. Last minute cancellations will be charged the full fee.
- Before any treatment can be given, I will need to take details of your medical status. This is for the purpose of your treatment only, and all details that you give are considered strictly confidential.
